LE PATIO is a place dedicated to dance but also open to the public for various types of rental: rehearsal, training, exhibition, conference, workshop, photoshoot, corporate evening, performance, etc.
Any request to rent our spaces or for information about pricing should be sent to contact@le-patio.be and should include, depending on the type of rental, the following information:

Training equipment required: ball, block, yoga mat, dance barre.

the studio
Located on the ground floor, Studio 1 is a true showcase for dance and for all the activities that take place there. In full view of visitors to the House of Dance, let your imagination run free; showcase what you have that is most precious to share, namely your passion! A training and rehearsal space, Studio 1 can also host a choreographic installation or a room for corporate events on request. It is multifunctional, versatile and gives you the opportunity to put your project fully in the spotlight. In addition to allowing you to give free rein to your creativity in front of Patio, this studio’s glass wall offers a breathtaking view of the interior of the House of Dance and provides direct access to the adjoining Sam’s Coffee Bar, the ideal place to extend rehearsals and events in good company! Studio 1 is equipped with mirrors, classical ballet barres, teaching equipment as well as curtains to create an intimate space by shielding it from outside view.

- Equipment: studio fitted with sound via a portable Samsung MXT40 speaker, with 3 types of ambient lighting on request, a 240cm-high mirror wall, light curtains on 2 sides that can cover the windows and mirrors.
the workshop studio
Bathed in natural light thanks to its large glazed bays and with an open outlook, Studio 2 is located on the first floor of PATIO. Its brightness, volume and warm atmosphere make it a precious ally for your creative impulses and bubbling inspiration. Equipped with mirrors, ballet barres and training accessories, this studio is the ideal place for exploration, movement research and recreational dance classes. Travel through this vast and bright creative territory where space and time have no boundaries!

- Equipment: studio fitted with sound via a portable Samsung speaker and two SONOS speakers, spot lighting or Bt Théatre stage lighting, removable 200cm-high mirrors, fire-retardant stage curtains on 4 sides that can black out the entire studio.

the exhibition walls
Creative synergy emerges through the coexistence of different art forms. That’s why LE PATIO – House of Dance offers artists from here and elsewhere the opportunity to make use of an original exhibition space, adapted to their technical needs.
Located on the ground floor in the patio, it extends via the metal staircase to the open circulation gallery of Patio on the first floor. A rail, secure hooks as well as a stainless steel wire system allow you to customise the layout of your exhibition, while taking advantage of the height of the room and its natural light.
This wall also extends into the adjoining Horeca space, the ideal place to hold an opening in good company. Set in the heart of a dynamic and lively environment, be assured that your works will be showcased and will catch the eye at any time of day.
In line with its mission and mandate, LE PATIO will focus on exhibitions inspired by the body, dance and movement.

HORECA SPACE
This bistro space, optimised both for a reception drink and for catering service thanks to its adjoining kitchen, is the meeting point between the various spaces of PATIO. A welcoming and functional lounge suited to collaborative work, it combines easily with private use of Studio 1 and Studio 2 for corporate events, opening nights and workshops.
As one of the spaces accessible to the outside public, it is possible to rent this space for an event of any kind. All included equipment will come in handy when your event requires catering service.

More than 72 hours before the booking // No rental fee
Between 72 and 24 hours before the booking // 50% of the rental fee
Less than 24 hours before the booking // 100% of the rental fee
Residencies and events
More than 10 days before the booking // No rental fee
Between 7 and 10 days inclusive before the booking // 50% of the rental fee
Less than 7 days before the booking // 100% of the rental fee
important information
Available sound equipment: Our studios are equipped with a sound speaker with auxiliary and Bluetooth connection;
Accessibility: Venue accessible to people with reduced mobility;
Parking: LE PATIO does not have its own parking. Paid and free parking is available nearby.
Rental time: The booking must include any preparation and warm-up period preceding or following the activity. Any additional use (before or after the scheduled hours) will be billed in 30-minute increments;
Food: Only water bottles are allowed inside the studios;
Footwear: Boots and outdoor shoes must be removed at the entrance of the studios. You may remain in socks or bring indoor shoes. No soles that mark the dance mats or high heels are allowed.
LE PATIO – House of Dance reserves the right to refuse a rental if it conflicts with its values or the current programme.
