LE PATIO

TRAM’ARDENT

For the inauguration of the Liège tram, LE PATIO – House of Dance was honoured to join forces with the TEC network to take part in this major event, conceived as a moment of collective celebration, open to all.

Alongside major Liège cultural institutions – the Opéra Royal de Wallonie, the Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège and the Mosa Ballet School – LE PATIO helped make the day a powerful artistic occasion, rooted in public space and accessible to as many people as possible.

With a firm commitment to bringing dance as close as possible to the public, performances took over the Place des Déportés throughout the afternoon, combining professional artists and pupils from the school. This programme built bridges between audiences, showcased the younger generation and offered a lively, direct and unifying experience.

By also opening the doors of its studios, LE PATIO gave the public a behind-the-scenes look at choreographic creation, encouraging encounters, exchange and discovery.

Through this collaboration, LE PATIO reaffirms its commitment to embedding dance in the city, making it visible, accessible and shared, by playing an active part in projects that forge links between culture, territory and citizens.
